Summer Sausage Salad Recipe

From it’s ripe strawberries to it’s crisp apples and juicy grapes blended into a mixed green salad with pecans, fresh mozzarella cheese bites, and sweet sausage it all comes together with a honey vinegar and oil dressing to become the perfect summer salad. This is a sure fire way of getting the little one to eat some salad this summer, and with a very easy make in 30 minutes or less, they will be gobbling it up.

  • 2 Cups Strawberries (before cut)
  • 2 Cups Grapes (before cut)
  • 1 Medium Sized Apple (I liked sweet you could try tart)
  • 1/2 cup Cubed Mozzarella (for true Paleo take out or sub with vegan cheese).
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Pecans
  • 5 oz Mixed Greens or more to tastes
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup Flax Seed Oil
  • 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Herbamare (Wholefoods)
  • 2 tbs Honey
  • Apple Sausage (4 to 5 links)
