Lemon Ginger Iced Tea Mason Recipe

I found a great recipe for a great ginger iced tea, I love ginger and made a change, one being I prefer non caffeinated teas. It is so refreshing and yummy I hope you enjoy it as much as we did, perfect for picnics or any time really.   • Sauce pan
  • Spoon
  • Knife
  • If loose leaf tea/ tea balls
  • Pitcher
  • Measuring cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup or 4 ounces of raspberries
  • Water for ice cubes tray
  •  8 cups of water divided for iced tea
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh ginger chopped
  • 6 bags or equivalent of chrysanthemum tea
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

Ahead of time in ice tray place several berries then add water, freeze. Place in sauce pan on high heat, honey, ginger and 2 cups water, bring to a boil then simmer 5 minutes. Place tea into sauce pan with mixture and let seep up to an hour. In pitcher place remaining 6 cups water and lemon juice then add in sauce pan mixture after straining liquid of solids. Cool in fridge. When ready to drink, pour and add ice cubes, enjoy!
