I had not started up Expedition Good Life yet so sorry there isn’t alot of pictures or videos for the directions on this one but i still thought it was worth posting for ideas for my other crafty moms out there.

Well enjoy whether you use it for a first birthday or any birthday year, his theme was ‘Up up and Away, it’s Tristan’s Birthday!’ Enjoy all the little ones and their parents as they make memories they will remember for years to come at your party! This booth is good for most toddler parties, my little niece was 6 at the time and she got in the basket for pictures too! She is so very beautiful isn’t she? I might be bias, but I think all my nieces are just the most beautiful girls.

Until next time, enjoy the good life,[/vc_column_text][vc_raw_html]JTNDcCUyMGNsYXNzJTNEJTIyc2lnbmF0dXJlJTIyJTNFQW1hbmRhJTIwSmVhbiUzQyUyRnAlM0UlMjA=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]

Instructions

1.  Get a roll of sky blue plastic table cloth cover, for your sky, either pin it to wall and roll out on floor or if outside, use wall of house or build wood base L like I did.

2. Get a pretty and fairly large basket, put couch pillows for comfort.

3. Get Pack of 36′ balloons, pack not one they tend to pop (wish someone had told me that, mine popped 5 minutes into the party and I had to replace it, it was originally yellow).

4. Get twine, fishing wire (magic no see stuff) fancy ribbon and length of lace like fabric.

5. Go on internet and save images of birds you like in full color at high resolution, put on USB drive, print in full color at kinkos, as big as you can fit on 8 by 11 paper, cut out.

6. This part you can do or skip, but I think it made my booth, I went on youtube, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF8r-JPIOh8 I know he is a bit rambo ruff ladies, but it worked) found a video on making nets made a net for the top of the balloon, to look like real old fashion hot air balloon, I tied off the long twine left over into four points to tie into the basket, and decorated the rough edges left with pretty ribbon. (you could just put ribbon around balloon with clear tape that has twine attached if you are not crazy obsessive like me).

7. Tie the lace fabric to basket in fashion like picture to make it look like  the vintage hot air balloon look, use your twine again.

8. HINT – it is super expensive to have these huge balloons inflated, use compressor or tire pump to blow up with regular air and attach balloon to base of booth with strong tape and fishing wire attached to net or ribbon base, or better still if you made a wood base carefully use a staple gun, use fishing wire to attach to net or ribbon base tie off the staple to wall high, but not so high you can see staples.

9. Tape birds to backdrop when everything else is in place.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
